Das Ziel vieler IT-Leiter ist es, den gesamten ausgehenden Postverkehr über eine Software zu konvertieren und zu verwalten. Und dies gleichgültig, in welchem Format die Mitarbeiter die Dokumente erstellen und in welchem Format die Empfänger ihre Anschreiben erwarten. In diesem Bedarfsfeld bildet die neueste Version von AFP2web® der OXSEED AG eine zentrale Lösung, die alle anderen Konvertierungswerkzeuge in den IT-Abteilungen ersetzen könnte. Der Softwarehersteller kündigt an, dass AFP2web® 4.0 ab dem 01.08.2010 für alle Kunden und Interessierten verfügbar ist. Das Produkt setzt neue Maßstäbe in der Disziplin Leistungsfähigkeit und bei der Anzahl der konvertierbaren Formate.

In großen Konzernen wie z.B. der SANLAM Group, einer der zwei größten Finanzdienstleister Südafrikas, erstellen mehrere tausend Mitarbeiter und Computersysteme hunderttausende Dokumente am Tag. Die Anschreiben, Rechnungen, Verträge, Kontoauszüge oder auch Mahnungen werden abhängig von der Computerausrüstung in den Büros oder den Niederlassungen in unterschiedlichsten Datenformaten erstellt. Um sie zentral zu verschicken, müssen sie von der IT-Abteilung in ein einheitliches Format gewandelt werden. Bislang arbeiten Unternehmen typischerweise mit sehr vielen kleinen Lösungen unterschiedlichster Programmierer, die jeweils einen bestimmten Konvertierungsvorgang abarbeiten.

AFP2web® 4.0 bietet hier ein regelbasiertes Handling aller gängigen Input-Formate, wobei das Format-Spektrum aufgrund von Kundenanforderungen noch weiter ausgebaut wurde. Die neueste Version von AFP2web® kann durch erweiterte Enkodierungen zusätzliche PDF-Formate unterstützen, der MO:DCA-IS1Input-Filter wurde ausgebaut und die MO:DCA P– Verarbeitung verbessert.

Ebenfalls liefert diese Version ein noch breiteres Portfolio an Ausgangsformaten; hier sind Formate wie z.B. HTML und PNG hinzugekommen. Entsprechend den aktuellen Standards ist AFP2web nun 64 Bit-kompatibel und garantiert somit höchste Performance. Das verbesserte Lizensierungsmodell ist außerdem stärker am konkreten Kundenbedarf und dem entsprechenden Nutzungsumfang orientiert.

The goal of many IT managers is to use software to convert and administer the complete postal communication. This should happen without any restrictions on the format of the documents created by the employees and the format expected by the recipients. For this purpose, the latest version of AFP2web® of OXSEED AG builds a centralized solution capable of replacing all the other conversion tools of the IT departments. Furthermore, this version delivers an even wider portfolio of output formats; Examples include the newly added formats HTML and PNG. Meeting the current standards, AFP2web® is 64-bit compatible and guarantees highest performance. The improved licensing model addresses the concrete customer needs and is based on actual use.
